.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
After a hint of a land breeze early this morning, we should see a
return to light/moderate onshore flow for much or all of the day.
A weak cold front will approach the region, and winds look to
turn more southwesterly late tonight. On Tuesday, winds will veer
through the day, becoming northeasterly Tuesday night. These
northeasterly winds are expected to last into Thursday morning.
Wind speeds will pick up in the wake of the front, and SCEC
conditions may occur in a window from late Tuesday night through
Wednesday. Onshore winds will return Thursday night and persist
through next weekend.
